近年來由於國民平均壽命延長,同時也增加社會人口結構老化的速度,台灣地區目前已是高齡化社會。有鑑於高齡者的交通運輸特性與一般中低年齡者有別,因此有必要針對高齡者之運輸需求特性,重新作一檢視,以將之納入未來運輸規劃設計之考量項目。此外,無論國內外,近幾年來無不致力於智慧型運輸系統(ITS)的發展,亦即運用先進的通訊、資訊及感測等技術,以提升運輸系統的效率及安全。因此,如何將ITS技術應用於高齡化社會中,以維護高齡者行的安全及便利,已成為國內未來落實智慧型運輸系統的重要課題。本研究以高齡行人為研究對象,探討ITS技術之應用:首先針對高齡行人之交通運輸特性與需求進行了解,並廣泛蒐集目前應用案例,據以分析檢討高齡行人之ITS功能需求,進而研提適用之ITS技術應用項目與策略,達到「科技」與「人本」結合的目標。 |
英文摘要 |
In Taiwan, because of longer average life span of the citizen, the societal population structure is aging in higher speed recently. Nowadays, Taiwan is already an aging society. As considering the transportation demands of each population group, since the demands of the elderly are significantly different from those of the young, it is necessary to evaluate the elderly transportation demands, as well as to incorporate these demands into the planning and design of the transportation system in future. Especially in recent years, not only Taiwan but also other nations are devoting to promote the development of ITS, which utilizes advanced technologies, such as communication, information and sensing, to increase the efficiency and safety of the transportation system. Hence, how to apply ITS technologies to ensure the transportation safety and convenience for the elderly has become an important issue in the implementation of ITS. The ultimate goal of this study is to reach the balance of ”Technology” and ”Humanity”. It focuses on analyzing the application of ITS technology to ensure the safety elder pedestrians. At first, not only elder pedestrians' traffic characteristics and demands are thoroughly evaluated, but also application cases s are widely reviewed. Then, according to this basic analysis, this study proposes the ITS application items and implementation strategies for the aging society. |
