創傷性心包填塞是一種迅速致命的創傷，乃因胸部創傷變得越來越常見。創傷性心包填塞的早期診斷在急救治療中角色日漸重要。創傷性心包膜填塞病況會幾分鐘內容易惡化，但是適當的步驟可病患生命徵像穩定。我們報告一位酒後駕車所致創傷性心包膜填塞的病例，因高警覺性及臨床經驗，使得此傷患能夠於短時間內在急診室接受了心臟超音波及心包膜穿刺引流術，也因此維持生命徵像穩定進而順利在開刀房進行心包膜切開術。

Traumatic cardiac tamponade is a serious and rapidly fatal injury. As chest traumas are becoming more common, early diagnosis of tamponade is important in life-saving treatment. A patient with acute pericardial tamponade can deteriorate in minutes, but many can be saved if proper steps are taken. We report a case of traumatic cardiac tamponade due to blunt chest injury in a traffic accident after alcohol consumption. Under a high index of suspicion of traumatic cardiac tamponade, we confirmed the diagnosis by an echocardiogram, stabilized the vital signs after pericardiocentesis in the emergency department, and smoothly performed a pericardiotomy in the operating room.
