二十世紀末90年代英國劇場興起一股以極端暴力爲主的戲劇風格,評論家廣稱爲「去你的」(in-yer-face)劇場。其中最富代表性的是莎拉•肯恩(Sarah Kane 1971-1999)與她的成名作《摧毀》(Blasted 1995)。本文研究《摧毀》中的暴力,並放之於二十世紀末興起的「去你的」劇場中檢視。文章首先分析《摧毀》具有濃厚的「去你的」劇場色彩,緊接討論《摧毀》中的暴力論述,最後探討舞台暴力的呈現。

英文摘要

British theatre in the 1990s sprang up a new fashion called ”in-ye t-face theatre,” which is well-known for its usage of violence. The most important playwright and the outstanding representative of the theatre are female dramatist Sarah Kane (1971-1999) and her work Blasted (1995). Putting the play within the historical context of the theatre of England in the 1990s, this paper intends to analyze violence in Blasted, The first part of the paper explains how Blasted is colored with the characteristics of in-yer-face theatre, and the next part focuses on violence in the play. Finally, the third part discusses the issue of the staged violence.
