在保險產業中,心理資本扮演著極為重要的角色,藉由暸解心理資本中自信心、希望、樂觀、韌性等構面對於工作績效的影響。過去,在許多研究論文中,均認為組織承諾會顯著影響工作績效,但本研究發現,在保險業人員的調查中,心理資本對於工作績效的影響程度遠勝於組織承諾對工作績效之影響程度,此發現對於保險產業的實務應用上有所助益。本研究透過調查研究保險從業人員工作績效之影響因素,並發現心理資本對於工作績效之影響,遠大於組織承諾對工作績效之影響,因此,保險產業應重視心理資本,以提升工作績效。
