頭頸部淋巴水腫是所有淋巴水腫類別中最為複雜的，因頭頸部的構造較為精細且此處擁有龐大而複雜的淋巴網絡，但頭頸部淋巴水腫卻常常被忽略。頭頸部淋巴水腫除了影響外觀及頭頸部的活動度，還可能使患者出現言語、吞嚥、咀嚼、呼吸方面的問題，甚至造成患者拒絕社交，導致生活品質低落，這些都是在考慮疾病的醫療處置外需要予以重視的。目前頭頸部淋巴水腫之相關研究較少，本篇綜論為頭頸部淋巴水腫之淺介，期望未來有更多學者投入頭頸部淋巴水腫的研究，以改此類型患者的生活品質。

Lymphedemas in head and neck regions is common but often has been ignored. In fact, head and neck lymphedema may cause dysphagia, speech problems and stridor when it happens in oral, pharyngeal or laryngeal areas. It not only affects the appearance of a patient who has lymphedema in head and neck regions, but also causes social withdrawal and lowers life quality. This article introduces the fundamental concepts of head and neck lymphedema and the crucial works which the speech therapists have to do.
