博物管理與專業策展人除了擁有專業領域的知識,更結合美學、設計學與學習理論等共同能力,人才培育尚且不易,而要集合多樣能力於一身更需要一套有遠見的培育過程,也需要時間的累積予以造就。本文探究美國藝術育才的策略上對博物管理與策展專業人員的發展和基礎,並分析其因應現今資訊爆炸時代的新方針,在人才培育、教育標準與評估方法的制定,由其經驗的分析中提供對於本國博物管理與策展專業人才培育策略的參考和建議。研究結果主張對於鑑賞能力與統合能力的培養需要在養成教育的基礎奠定工程中提出,包含育才目標的明確訂定、人才養成架構的建立、軟硬體網絡的暢通、資源的統合、資源與資訊公信力的建立、建立產學雙贏的實習機制,及策略合乎國情需要與適當調整等七項建議。

英文摘要

It is time-consuming, but very important, to foster a professional curator to be knowledgeable in a specific field with aesthetic and skillful abilities. This paper examines the principles and standards of the United States educational policies and strategies. After reviewing the cultivation programs in the United States, it is suggested to establish the curriculum for the adaptability of art/design history, skillful craftsmanship, critical thinking, cross-media understanding as well as the ethics of curatorial field. We can ensure the quality of education will meet our needs with education standards. Besides the ability of appreciation and integration capability, seven suggestions are also provided in this study, including the establishment of framework, network flow, the integration of resources, the establishment of credibility, avoiding a mere formality internship, foster a win-win situation between museums/galleries and academia, and the appropriate adjustment of strategy setting.
