婦女性功能障礙的患病率高，且損害婦女的生活質量，應及早予以診治，以促進婦女的性健康。本研究以一份只含五個項目的婦女性功能量表（簡稱FSF-5），採用橫向研究法，以方便取樣的方式，測查香港婦女的性功能狀況。參與研究的香港婦女（N＝1,011），人口特徵廣泛多樣。數據分析結果證實FSF-5具有滿意的信度和效度。由FSF-5的得分顯示，香港婦女在性慾和性高潮方面的性功能稍為偏低，在性興奮、陰道濕潤、無性交疼痛感等方面僅屬一般水平。研究結果亦識別了一些性功能障礙的風險因素，包括：離婚、年齡較大（41歲以上）、教育程度偏低（小學或以下）、收入相對較高（3萬港幣以上；1港幣＝4.18新臺幣）等，這些因素大致符合西方研究文獻所識別的風險因素。FSF-5得分偏低者，性活動也較少，意味整體幸福感可能受影響。綜合而言，FSF-5這份簡短量表可作為測查婦女性功能障礙的篩選工具，有助減少婦女性功能障礙的遺漏診治，從而促進婦女的性健康。

The prevalence of female sexual dysfunction (FSD) is high and FSD is found to be detrimental to women's quality of life. Hence, early diagnosis and treatment of FSD should help promote women's sexual health. In this cross-sectional study a 5-item screening measure (the FSF-5) was used to examine the sexual function of women in Hong Kong. Data were collected via convenience sampling. Demographic characteristics of the participants (N = 1,011) were diversified and covered a wide spectrum of backgrounds. Results of the data analysis confirmed that the reliability and validity of FSF-5 were satisfactory. The results indicated that women in Hong Kong functioned at a slightly low level in sexual desire and orgasm. Their sexual function in terms of arousal, lubrication, and pain were generally satisfactory. A number of risk factors of FSD were identified, which included divorce, older in age (41 years or above), low education (primary school or below), and relatively high income (HK $ 30,000; HK $1 = $4.18 NTD). These risk factors were generally consistent with those reported in Western research literature. Participants who obtained low scores on FSF-5 tended to engage in low frequency of sexual activity, which may imply that their general well-being could be affected. In summary, the brief measure of FSF-5 may serve as a screening tool for detecting FSD. It helps to reduce the rate of under-diagnosis and under-treatment of FSD, thus facilitates the promotion of women's sexual health.
