儒家心學主要奠基在道德主體意識上,無論是天道或人道,盡皆收攝至本心上來,那是一心之伸展,一心之潤澤,至極處,乃是「宇宙便是吾心,吾心即是宇宙」,「宇宙內事乃己分內事,己分內事乃宇宙內事」(《象山全集•年譜》),迆邐至明代王學,皆宗此風。在此種論述的脈絡裡,天道氣化便顯得虛欠而不飽滿,蓋心學家全副精神就在本心的擴充上。這種發展對儒學而言,當然不是錯誤,只是令人好奇:面對《周易》這類專論天道生化的古籍時,他們如何詮釋天道之流行? 王龍溪乃陽明高弟,在吸取良知學之餘,也旁攝其他諸家學說之精華,堪稱心學之集大成者。由他來詮釋易理,或許可以展現心學家如何吸收消化天道、陰陽氣化之類的概念,而納入心學的體系。如果龍溪成功完成這項工作,不僅對於易學有一扭轉性的突破發展,對儒學「心性天是一」的理論也能得到一有力的證明。 |
英文摘要 |
The heart school's theories of the Confucianists originate in ethical consciousness. They regard ethical consciousness as the substance. This substance is not merely an inward moral subject; at the same time it is a creative reality to create everything too. However, the heart schools do not pay attention to the research of Tian-Dao and the manifestation of Chi. Taking this attitude to annotating Yi Jing, could they express the intelligence of Yi Jing? Wang Long-xi is Wang Yang-ming's student. Besides absorbing Yang-ming's scholarships, he adopts other people's quintessences of theories too. It is justified to call him a comprehensive expression of the person of the heart school. When Wang Long-xi explains the principles of Yi Jing, he can represent the style of the heart school even more. If he can apply his theories to Yi Jing successfully, it does not merely get breakthrough development about learning of Yi Jing, but also can receive an effective identification with regard to the idea of Confucianism that ”moral mind, moral ability and Tian-Dao are one.” |
