本研究之主要目的是探討音樂治療於血液透析病患在透析期間之焦慮、壓力及生理指標之成效。本研究採類實驗性研究法，採隨機分派的方式收案於台南某二家地區教學醫院之血液透析室同步進行研究，共收集60位樣本，其中實驗組、對照組各為30名，每次一小時，每週三次，為期八週，實驗組於病患接受血液透析時開始播放音樂並給予傳統之血液透析護理。對照組僅採傳統血液透析護理沒有音樂的介入。收集資料的量表包括：醫院焦慮憂鬱量表、血液透析壓力量表及生理指標。所蒐集的資料以SPSS 10.0 WINDOW套裝軟體進行統計分析。運用的統計方法包括百分比、平均值、標準差、卡方檢定、重複測量變異數分析。研究結果顯示：音樂介入能顯著降低血液透析病患之焦慮、壓力、提升血氧飽和濃度(95% vs. 98%; F=73.57, p=0.000)，但在其他生理指標上並未呈現顯著性差異。建議血液透析室能透過音樂降低病患之焦慮及壓力以提升病患生活品質。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of music therapy for reducing anxiety, stress, and physiological indices in hemodialysis patients. This was a quasi-experimental study; the participants were selected from two hemodialysis clinics in major hospitals in southern Taiwan. A total of sixty eligible participants were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. The experimental group received music therapy for one hour, three times per week, lasting for eight weeks, in addition to routine medical care, while the control group received only routine medical care.The instruments included the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) and Symptom Distress Scale (SDS). Percentages, frequencies, mean values with standard deviation, Chi-Square and repeated measure ANOVA were all utilized to analyze data. After eight weeks of treatment, the experimental group had significantly less anxiety, stress and increased oxygen saturation (95% vs.98%; F=73.57, p=0.000) than the control group. No significant differences were found in other physiological indices between the two groups. The results suggest that hemodialysis centers can improve their patients' quality of life during hospitalization by employing music therapy to reduce anxiety and stress.
