2015年本病房住院愛滋感染者有情緒困擾高達32%,引發專案動機。本專案自2016年5月1日至2017年3月31日,確認六個問題點:親友反覆詢問病情、紙本衛教單張有診斷名稱、有問題不知道問誰、出院藥袋上有藥名及藥物作用、藥物衛教單張欠缺個別性及藥物衛教時僅口述。藉由舉辦在職教育、提供衛教單張QR CODE APP網頁連結、提供一對一匿名LINE通訊軟體諮商、提供具提醒功能個人專用藥盒、提供彩色客製化藥物圖衛教單張、提供HAART藥物指引參閱手冊後,感染者HADS焦慮≧8分由40%降至20.5%,達專案目的,期能提供愛滋照護指定醫院之參考。 |

In our hospital, 32% of inpatients with HIV reported emotional distress in 2015. In this study, we developed and evaluated the effectiveness of intervention programs to reduce inpatient anxiety from 2016 to 2017. We first identified the six major sources of their anxiety: (a) friends and relatives who repeatedly ask patients about their disease conditions, (b) the paper education leaflets they received explicitly labeling their diagnosis, (c) not knowing who to ask in case of queries, (d) their discharge medication pack revealing their drug names and usage instructions, (e) drug education leaflets lacking individuality, and (f) drug education conducted only through verbal means without hard copies for reference. Our intervention program was then designed to provide training to health workers, a web link to a health education QR CODE APP, one-on-one consultation using anonymous communication through LINE software, individualized medication reminder box, customized color drug map leaflet, and the HAART drug guidance reference manual. We observed that the percentage of inpatients with HIV whose anxiety scores were ≥8 points had dropped from 40% before the intervention program to 20.5% after it. These results could be used as a reference for developing education-related care measures to reduce the anxiety of institutionalized patients with HIV. |
