這是一位65歲男性，已頭痛反覆20多年。年輕時偶發輕微程度之頭痛。民國87年工作時突然昏倒，診斷為蜘蛛膜下腔出血，之後頭痛頻繁發作且疼痛程度加重。於西醫疼痛科進行激痛點注射治療，疼痛程度與頻率原得以控制，後又復發。故轉而向奇美醫院中醫部尋求治療。透過小針刀鬆解肌肉、筋膜緊繃處，治療一次後疼痛減輕許多。持續治療追蹤一個月未見復發。
英文摘要

This is a 65-year-old male who suffered from chronic headache for more than 20 years. He had occasional mild headache when he was young. In 1998, he suddenly fainted at work and was diagnosed with subarachnoid hemorrhage. He was treated with trigger point injection in the Pain department of Chi Mei medical center, while the pain level and frequency were controlled, but later recurred. He turned to the Chinese Medicine Department of Chi Mei medical center for futher treatment. After acupotomy therapy, his troublesome headache was dramatically alleviated by relaxing the muscle and fascia tension. The treatment was continued for one month and no recurrence was observed. This case demonstrates that acupotomy can be an effective treatment option for chronic headache.
