一位76歲男性因腹主動脈瘤破裂,使用血管內主動脈瘤修復術來治療,從降主動脈至髂動脈分支共放了14支內套膜支架,並在住院時安排腰椎磁振造影檢查,影像結果不良,骨骼以及軟組織訊雜比太低,應是不鏽鋼材質的內套膜支架造成的嚴重影響,嘗試增加信號平均數來提高SNR略有改善,金屬醫療植入物的應用普及化,理解相關知識及採用抑制技術將成為重要的課題。 |
英文摘要 |
A 76-year-old male with a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm sought treatment through endovascular aneurysm repair. Fourteen endovascular stents were deployed from the descending aorta to the iliac artery branches. During hospitalization, a lumbar spine magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examination was conducted. However, the imaging results were unsatisfactory, with low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and signal heterogeneity observed in bone and soft tissues. This deterioration was attributed to the significant impact of stainless steel endovascular stents. Attempts to enhance SNR by increasing signal averaging showed marginal improvement. With the widespread use of metallic medical implants, understanding relevant knowledge and adopting suppression techniques will become crucial issues in overcoming imaging challenges in clinical practice. |
