With the progress of the technology, liquid crystals [1-4] have been used m many different fields, such as the displays, solar cells etc Nowadays, liquid crystal can be used as humectants for the cosmetics This study studied 3 different liquid crystal type moistures with the simple emulsion technology and observed by polarized microscopic. This study also applied the three different liquid crystal type moistures onto the hands and face to compare the hydration performances. With the tests and observation, the textures of the liquid crystal can be observed clearly and three of the liquid crystal type moistures were proved to be effective for the hydration. According to the exp experimental result, Formula 3 has the best hydration effect in this study. We further investigated, the effect by adding Pheohydrane to formula 3 and analyzed its properties, such as particle size distribution, zeta potential, surface tension and SPM analysis.
