本研究是藉由亞里斯多德及黑格爾所提出的「悲劇理論」,與戲劇之基本觀點要素談論電影《投名狀》的劇情表現。戲劇除了具有娛樂性之外,其更重要的意義是藉由戲劇的人物、情節,使觀看者能有更多的心靈互動。電影《投名狀》的劇情鋪陳及人物塑造,具有悲劇性並且可發人省思,除了背景敘述是戰爭亂世中,三個結義兄弟的情義與生死,同時也深刻描述兄弟間恩怨情仇的糾葛。雖然每一各別人物身上都因不同的情境,而引起一些對立的目的和情慾,而導致最後的劇中人物皆以悲劇性的結局收場(死亡),但真正感動我們的並非因結局的悲慘,更不是因為悲劇人物的死亡,而是在於他們對於所信仰的堅持。當人們觀看悲劇時,藉由悲劇美學的本質「矛盾」所引發的「衝突」進而使產生「恐懼」及「憐憫」而使情感獲得宣泄及淨化作用,這才是觀看悲劇的最終意義。 |
英文摘要 |
Based on the ”tragic theory” mentioned by Aristotle and Hegel and the basic concept of drama, this study is aimed at discussing the plot of the movie ”The Warlords”. In addition to providing entertainment, a drama is intended to enhance the spiritual interactions among the viewers through its characters and plots. The plot and characters of the movie ”The Warlords” are both tragic and inspirational. Not only does the movie depict the life and death of three sworn brothers in a war and the friendship among them, it describes the perplexing love and hatred among them as well. The conflicts and passions stirred up among characters in different situations lead to the tragic denouement (i.e. death) of each character. We are really touched not by the tragic denouement or death of the tragic characters, but by their persistence in belief. The ultimate significance for tragedy viewers is to relieve and purify their feelings aroused by fear and pity caused by conflicts resulting from contradiction which is the essence of tragedy esthetics. |
