本研究以仁德醫護管理專科學校,五專四年級學生115位為研究對象,透過問卷分析來量測其對於虛擬實境多媒體英語教學的學習感受、學習動機與學習成效。研究結果發現,大部份的學生對於使用虛擬實境教學軟體,來學習英語有良好的感受,並認為可增進他們學習英語的動機與成效。研究結果也發現,學生對於「虛擬實境英語教學軟體的感受」、「學習英語的動機」與「學習英語的成效」之間都具有正面的相關性,因此只要善用虛擬實境英語文教學的功能,將可增進英語文教學的效果,提升學生的英語文能力。

英文摘要

The use of virtual reality (VR) as an alternative form of learning method has received a lot of attention. With the help of a questionnaire, this study first investigated the impression and impacts of a VR learning software had on 115 EFL junior college students in Taiwan. Then, the subjects' learning motivation and effectiveness were also observed. Finally, the relationship between subjects' learning perceptions, motivation, and effectiveness was examined. The major findings in this study suggested that if implemented with good teaching methods and designs, the role of virtual reality in EFL classrooms can be assured.
