本研究的目的是要探討以歌謠教學方式來進行英語教學,對增進幼兒英語聽覺詞彙能力的成效如何。本研究以課程中未有英語課程的幼稚園作為研究實施的場域,並選取另一所性質相近的幼稚園作為對照組。實驗組的研究對象有中、大班合計174位學前幼兒,對照組則有幼兒147位。研究測量工具為修訂畢保德圖畫詞彙測驗(PPVT-4)。研究結果顯示:(一)採用歌謠教學的實驗組,幼兒的聽覺詞彙程度較對照組有明顯進步(二)有無英語學習經驗的幼兒在歌謠教學後,英語詞彙進步幅度並沒有顯著差異(三)大班幼兒相較於中班幼兒,於歌謠教學後英語聽覺詞彙能力進步的幅度較大。本研究的結果可作為園所實施英語教學與父母選擇學前教育機構時的參考依據。 |
英文摘要 |
The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of songs teaching for preschool Children's vocabulary ability. The research was explored in two kindergartens that have no English curriculum originally. The subjects were 174 children who were four to six years old in the study group. One hundred and forty-seven children were in the control group. The Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test Four Edition (PPVT-4) was used as research instruments. Results showed that (1) Songs teaching promoted children's English vocabulary effectively (2) No difference was found in children with different learning experiences. (3) six-year-old children made greater progress than five-year-old children after songs teaching. Implications and limitations were discussed in the study. |
