學習一個新的單字,不僅要學會其發音、字義以及本專題主題-詞性及其應用。本專題主要目的為探討學生是否可藉由學習衍生性字尾以及詞性排列的順序的知識,改善詞性辨別與應用的能力。本專題將受測者分成三組,並針對研究設計隨機發放不同問卷,並以SPSS分析後,發現只學習字尾知識的受測者成績最高。本專題也透過學生在態度量表以及開放性問題的回答給予英語教師教學上實務的建議。

英文摘要

When learning a new word, learners should learn not only its pronunciation and meaning, but its parts of speech and its application. In this project, we aim to figure out if students can improve their ability of identifying and applying parts of speech by learning derivational suffixes and the word order. The project divides the subjects into three groups and give the subjects questionnaires at random. After analyzing by SPSS, we find out that students receiving only suffixes knowledge improve more. Also, the project gives English teachers practical advice through students’ answers in the questionnaires.
