This research uses literature review to study the experience and difficulties of people with severe visual impairment in using barrier-free facilities in public spaces. Based on three aspects of daily life experience: money management, leisure and entertainment, and transportation: the use of ATM, the experience of visiting museums and art galleries, and the use of public transportation, the experience of the use process and the difficulties encountered are discussed. Regarding the use of ATMS, research results show that the difficulties faced by people with severe visual impairment include: the number of ATMS with voice assistance services is small, some of the machine's voice equipment needs to be repaired, and the buttons and barillas are partially flat or reversed, resulting in using process is not smooth. The results of research in museums and art galleries show that the difficulties faced include: inconvenient transportation, insufficient guidance of movement lines in the museum and differences in the presentation of exhibits that affect the experience of visually impaired people. In terms of public transportation, the notices and route guidance in the station mostly use visual cues, which is not conducive to the identification of the severely visually impaired. If there is no voice announcement system in the car, you may not know which station you will arrive at. The number of rehab uses is insufficient, and the location of dedicated bus lanes is not conducive for the visually impaired to go by themselves. |
