目前全球化資本經濟在全球各地產生的結果有好有壞。一方面全球化經濟受到許多保護地球或環境人士的極端反對，環境保護人士主張只有保護生態環境，人類才有永續的可能。另一方面，一些企業家們在面臨全球化經濟壓力及爭取自己產品利潤的競爭下，也不得不尋求新的機會、市場與顧客，使經濟利益可以永續發展。同時，注意到企業或現代化對環境的影響，提出新方案，如綠色資本主義或永續的資本主義。似乎這兩個主張已經有著共同的目標與作法。儘管如此，在對努力從事保護生態文化的學者看來，是否足以維護我們的地球與自然之永續存在？在我看來，可能還需要努力。

For the past ten to twenty years, business world has been filled with request of globalization. Nevertheless many multinational companies are met by some environmental extremists and anti-globalization people. On the other hand, people on manage level of these companies realized the pressure coming from business crises and environmental impact. Some companies have initiated new policies on finding new markets and consumers, such as greening the business, going beyond greening, even finding new opportunities by becoming indigenous. However, this idea will bring sustainable business growth, but whether it can soften the conflict between capitalism and ecological sustainability still needs to be studied.
