本文討論結合國小童軍、水環境教育與服務學習活動發展及其對參與學生環境素養的環境內控觀、覺知、敏感度及行為、與服務學習的服務態度、自我效能、人際包容與社會關懷等共計八個變項的影響。此活動為研究者設計的行動研究方案,以某一國小五六年級學生組成的童軍團學生為對象,採自願參與的方式進行,以問卷調查、深度訪談、反思日誌等方式來蒐集資料,瞭解水環境教育服務學習方案的影響。質化研究結果顯示參與水環境服務童軍學生有強烈的參加動能,並且能在每一階段行動中不斷反思,產生具體創意可行的方案,獲得有效率的學習及態度的轉變與自我肯定。量化研究顯示,在活動進行前,參與童軍的學生比一般學生已經有較佳的參與服務態度。教學介入後,水環境童軍服務學習活動的參與學生在水環境認知、環境敏感度、環境行為、與服務態度上有顯著增加,但在內控觀、自我效能、人際包容與社會關懷等變項的進步情形,並未有顯著的差異。整體而官,此一創新的教學介入,仍然是具有潛在的效果。不過本行動研究樣本數很小、不是逢機取樣、也沒有結構的教學計畫,因此出現後測原題數與增加新題數在各種統計上出現不同結果,因此各項結論都仍然存留討論與探索空間。 |

This paper discusses an evaluation result on a case study that integrated water environmental service learning into scouting education at a primary school. The researcher designed and leaded the program, and used both quantity and qualitative methods to detect the impact of the program activities. Reflection notes, interviews, pre-post questionnaires surveys were adopted during the process. The qualitative result indicates that the majority of participants demonstrated energetic attitudes toward cooperative learning and reflected critically out many creative solutions during and after taking real life actions. Students changed attitudes and raised self-esteem. Pre-test survey revealed that participants have stronger attitudes toward service than those of non-participants. The results of quantity analyses found that the participants who had attended both scouting and water environmental service program, had significant better performance on knowledge, sensitivity and behavior intensity toward water environment and attitude toward service than those participants who had not. The tested group showed no significant change at all on locus of control, self-efficacy and mutual respect and care toward society. The results may be caused by ineffectiveness of questionnaires, not enough time duration and strength of program stimuli, and many other confounding factors. However, this case still demonstrates a potential of an innovative approach. But this action research due to limit of sample size, not randomize sampling, non-structure curriculum, and change of post test questionnaires, show some what different statistic tests results on program effects. Which means further discussion and exploration are in needs. |
