魚苗寮擁有自然資源、產業資源、文化資源,但淡水魚苗資源產業逐漸沒落。有鑑於此,研究團隊透過現場勘查、專家學者訪談、學校教師及參訪民眾的問卷調查,了解場域內有何種資源設施、社區環境學習中心的發展歷程、遭遇的問題及解決之道;藉此檢視所規劃的軟硬體設施、路線及課程是否符合需求。研究結果顯示,魚苗寮社區發展成環境學習中心之發展歷程大約可分為以下階段:社會環境壓力期、初步發起期、規劃整合期、積極發展期、自我檢討期及持續發展期。滿意度調查顯示,遊客與教師普遍對軟硬體設施狀態接近滿意;在配套課程方面,教師們認為此課程可增進學習者之自然保育知識、態度、行為;需改進的部份為課程內容過多與進行過程的活潑程度與趣味性不足。解說服務方面,遊客與教師普遍表示滿意。在社區資源整合的過程,應著重地區特色的發展,制定社區回饋機制,且加強與社區居民的溝通與互動。 |
英文摘要 |
Fingerling-Cottage is a community of natural, environmental, and cultural resources. It also is a community with a suffering industrial base. With these elements taken into consideration, on-site investigations, expert and scholar interviews, and a questionnaire survey of local teachers and community members were conducted to look at the role and potential role of the community-based environmental learning center. The results of the research were shown as follows: the developmental process of the Fingerling-Cottage community in regards to the Environmental Learning Center can be roughly divided into the stages of 1) social environmental stress period, 2) initial start-up period, planning and integration period, 3) the active development period, 4) self-examination period, and 5) sustained development period. The survey showed that tourists and teachers were satisfied with software and hardware facilities. In related curricula, teachers thought that curricula might promote the visitors’ natural conservation knowledge, their attitude, and their behavior. Aspects needed improvement were quantity of content (currently is too much), as well as level of visitor participation to enhance liveliness and participant satisfaction. Overall, however, tourists and teachers were satisfied with interpretation services. As the community resources integrated with the environmental learning center, local characteristic development should be emphasized, feedback mechanisms should be introduced, and communications and interactions with residents of the community should be strengthened. |
