The main discourse of this thesis is on the instructional problems and curriculum planning about college's general education course on historical characters. Focus on the aspects of curriculum instruction, planning, and design of popular historical characters in Three Kingdoms, and illustrate points for attention on three above aspects. In this thesis, many fallacies in the book, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, are also identified and corrected to avoid confusion between historical facts and novel. Hopefully, through my endeavor, the teaching of historical characters in Three Kingdoms will progress.
