在台灣各大學學生均需修至少28學分通識課,通識課中約4-8學分為自然科學類。生命科學或生物學常成為其可能選科,傳統生命科學或生物學已難引起學生興趣。於是筆者創出一個較有吸引力的[生命科學的樂章]課程以適合新世代同學。該課以簡易有趣的實驗或活動為主,以啟發同學對生命科學的創造思考力。同時藉以介紹相關知識。本課程自2003年實施迄2006年期間,共有約180位同學選修(每班上限30位),各學期同學評鑑平均分數為5.19-5.44(最高6.0),同學對該課反應極佳。本文對該課內涵與學生回饋做介紹。 |
英文摘要 |
Any university or four-year college undergraduate student in Taiwan has to take at least twenty eight credits for liberal arts study. Therein four to eight credits are assigned to natural science. Life science or biology courses are among their choices. Traditional general biology or life science courses are outmoded. A new attractive course called ”The Melody of Life Science” was designed for this new generation in our campus. It based on simple and interesting experiments or activities to initiate their motivation. Betweenwhiles Ⅰ would explain the related knowledge to them. This course has been taught 3 years. About 180 students have been participated in this class (upper limit 30/per class). Students gave very high evaluation to this course. The average scores of this course during these semesters were between 5.19-5.44 out of 6.0. The contents of the course and students' feedback were discussed in the paper. |
