There are about ten comments that Wang Kuo-Wei discusses the words of Meng-Chuang in the book ”Ren Jian Ci Hua” written by Wang. Wang thinks that the form of Meng-Chuang's writings is in disorder and the writer focuses his mind on the vocabulary. As regards the content, his writings cater to everybody's taste and express artificial feelings, and then he is not talented and sincere, so Wang appraises his writings 'You-Ge' (The writings don't manifest the writer's real feeling). But on the other hand, the content of Meng Chuang's words is implied, and it is not easy to realize the true meanings of his writings. He uses a lot of words and phrase which are either elegant or complicated, besides, the state of his mind is free, and he just write down what he thinks and feels at the moment. However, the style of Meng Chuang's words still plays an important role in the history and literary world. Consequently, it will be difficult to understand the value of his works if you do not verily his life or criticize his works objectively. Therefore the criticism by Wang Kuo Wei is too simple to be thorough.
