中文摘要 |
Objectives: The purposes of this study were (1) to evaluate the application of non-contrast enhanced (non-CE) Time-Spatial Labeling Inversion Pulses (Time-SLIP) technique in demonstrating the liver portal venous system and, (2) to analyze the imaging quality of magnetic resonance (MR) portal venography with non-CE Time-SLIP technique, and compared with that of traditional contrast-enhanced (CE) images. Methods: Thirty healthy subjects were enrolled in this study. Two radiologists interpreted and scored the images with four-point scale. In addition, the signal to noise ratio (SNR) and contrast to noise ratio (CNR) of the original images of non-CE Time-SLIP and CE techniques was objectively measured. Results: The mean score of imaging quality of non-CE Time-SLIP images (3.42±0.62) was significantly higher than that of CE images (2.75 ±0.60) (p<.001). SNR of non-CE image of 27 cases was higher than that of CE image. The mean SNR of non-CE images (50.58) was significantly higher than that of CE images (32.36) (p<.001). The mean CNR of non-CE images (34.64) was significantly higher than that of CE images (8.99) (p<.001). Conclusion: Portal venous system can be demonstrated using the MR portal venography with non-CE Time-SLIP technique, without intravenous administration of contrast medium, and provide imaging quality as good as that of CE technique. Therefore, non-CE Time-SLIP MR portal venography can be a new imaging modality of choice to demonstrate the portal venous system. |
