健康服務的需求、醫療服務的供應及市場力量的改變將成為未來健康照護的核心趨勢。臺北市立聯合醫院（以下簡稱北市聯醫）秉持以人為中心（Person-Centered）與價值導向（Value-based）照護精神與模式，因應人口統計和流行病學的數據變遷、民眾參與期望、病人權利的提升、數位化革命浪潮、人工智慧及大數據快速崛起、居家及遠距醫療整合照護模式的趨勢確立，以有溫度的智慧醫療（Smart healthcare）引領價值。著重以相對於成本有效的照護、病人安全、及時性及平等性的社區照護、醫病共享決策（Shared-Decision Making, SDM）、健康促進與疾病預防，是為落實以人為中心及價值導向健康照護的交集，也是臺北市立聯合醫院全體期望達致高科技、高感動醫療變革與平衡的政策方向。

Changes that occur in the demand for health services, supply of medical services, and market forces, are going to be the core trends in future healthcare. In response to the transition of population statistics and epidemiology, expectation of public participation, empowerment of patient rights, waves of digital revolution, rapid rise of artificial intelligence and big data, and establishment of the trends of integrated home-based and telemedicine care models, the Taipei City Hospital leads the values with smart healthcare upholding the person-centered and value-based care spirit and models. With a focus on cost-effective care, patient safety, timely and equal care in the community, shared decision making, and health promotion and disease prevention are the intersection of person-centered and value-based health cares and the policy direction of high-tech and high-touch medical transformation and balance for all staff of the Taipei City Hospital to reach.
