易卜生於1879年12月4日所出版的娃娃屋長久以來在戲劇文學發展上一直備受囑目,女主角諾拉(Nora)砰的一聲關上門,將她的娃娃屋拋在腦後,這一幕仍然震撼著現代人心,迴盪在現代社會的每一角落。對一百多年後的大學教師該如何重現易卜生在此劇中傳達的鮮活、信諾及真愛的確是一大挑戰。此文試以不同方式(比喻):窗戶(情節概要)、前門(主題講解)、後門(課堂討論)、及煙囱(戲劇表演)來解讀此一經典劇作並設計教學活動,設計教學時間約3至4周(6-8小時),戲劇表演可視情況彈性運用,適用教學對象爲應用外語系學生,作爲教授西洋文學導讀或西洋戲劇教師的參考。 |

The publication of A Doll House by Henrik Ibsen on 4 December 1879 has been noted as a major event in the development of dramatic literature. Nora's departure made an impact throughout society: it was, in the now famous phrase, ”the door slam heard around the world.” Today an instructor teaching A Doll House faces the challenge of recreating the vividness, commitment, and true passion that Ibsen conveyed in his play. This paper presents different ways of getting into A Doll House. Window (plot overview), front door (lecture: themes), back door (class discussion), and chimney (performance) are suggested ways to get into A Doll House. This lesson planning is given three to four weeks (6-8 fifty-minute periods). Based on different situations, performance is designed flexibly. It's an actual lesson plan for teachers who teach Guided Reading of Western Literature or Western Drama in Applied Foreign Languages Department. |
