The main purpose of this study is to explore the problems of professional observation which preschool educators faced with and their strategies and effects regarding the professional observation problems. Some results of this study are as follows. The preschool educators faced professional observation problems: over-observing the ability of children to read and write, no designed observation purpose, lack of professional observation and knowledge, observation by feeling and lack of observation records of children's behavior. The strategy for the preschool educators facing professional observation problems: during the learning area time, to observe, peer sharing, utility of behavior observation record table and practice of teaching reflection. The effectiveness of preschool educators faced professional observation problems: preschool educators observe the ability of children's development in the learning area, master the purpose of observation, improve the observation and recording skills, multiple application on observation data, and the findings of materials promoting children's social ability in the learning area. Based on the above results, the researcher proposes advices to preschool educators, kindergartens, educational institutions and future studies.
