Cultural industry and artistic activities have become increasingly important in recent years. People have more interactions with all artistic fields. All museums including museums of fine arts have become significant media sources requiring them to be more proactive than before. Currently, electronization is the trend for museums. In addition to offering various printed information, a variety of e-newspapers ought to be introduced to help combine electronization and the interaction between people. In this paper, we will analyze e-newspapers from a visual design point of view. First, we will try to compare different kinds of e-newspapers and find out which is the most effective. The National Palace Museum, National Museum of History, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Taipei Fine Arts Museum and Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts will be the subjects in this analysis. Next, we will analyze the strategies each museum uses for exhibitions. Also, we will investigate readers' habits of e-newspapers. Furthermore, we will take a survey to investigate which kinds of e-newspapers are considered ideal. Finally we will discuss how to use this ”e-media” to spread the knowledge of art and to try to increase the ”artistic populations” plus developing potential art audiences.
