生脈散是由人參、麥門冬及五味子等三味花物所組成的方劑,基主要功用在於益氣劍陰,生津養心保肺。心律變異分析技術乃利用頻譜分析之原理,近來廣泛應用於自主神經活性的探討,具備有非侵入性以及方便快速等特性。在本研究中,首先我們使用心律變異分析技術來測量年青女性短期和長期服用生脈散後對於心跳及自主神經之影響,結果發現在短期實驗中,只服用一次生脈散並不會影響心跳參數或是自主神經的活性;而在邊續服用五天生脈散之後,發現對於受試者心跳間距有明顯延長之現象,但對於交感與副交感神經的活性並無顯著影響。因此我們認為生脈散之作用需經過長時間服用才會顯現出來,使得心跳間距延長。另外在藥物外貼部分,發現在胸口膻中穴外貼Concor會使受試者心跳間距改變(有部分受試者間距增大,而有部分受試者間距變小),使用穴道電檢儀檢測後可以進行分組,進一步探討及預測藥物使用的情形。但是詳細的生理機制還有待與時俱進進一步的研究來證明。

英文摘要

Shang Mai San is a formula herb, composed by Zinsen, Maimendong and Wuweizi, for tonifing the Qi and Yin. In this study, we analysis the heart rate and autonomic nerve system activities in 10 young girls after oral intake of Shang Mai San by using Heart Rate Variability technology. We found no significant changes on Heart Rate Variability parameter after oral intake of Shang Mai San once. After continuous intake of Shang Mai San for five days, we found the R-R interval of heart rate is extended, but no significant change on the sympathetic and parasympathetic nerve activities. In conclusion, Shang Mai San may act as a long term Qi-Yin tonifing herb and reduce heart rate.
