企業以及工廠正積極運用許多的管理方法來改善提高各自的經營環境與績效，全面生產維護(Total Productive Maintenance, TPM)是企業積極引進的改善經營體制方法。本研究目的在了解TPM內涵與TPM八大支柱，為強化八大支柱之認知，本研究利用IDEF0構模工具展現八大支柱中之功能活動，並界定輸出入資訊與所需機制項目（包含方法、工具、人員、設備等），及透過控制項目（例如S.O.R作業規範），將輸入資訊轉變為輸出資訊以達到TPM目的。本研究利用IDEF0構模工具深入了解八大支柱間的關聯性，能使企業在導入TPM時，節省建立資料庫所需的時間。
