目的：本研究翻譯憂鬱性格（社會型與自主型性格）測量工具－個人風格問卷第二版（the revised Personal Style Inventory, PSI-II），並檢驗中文版PSI-II的心理計量屬性。方法：643位大學生被隨機分成兩個樣本，樣本1用來檢查中文版PSI-II的信效度，其中20位於四週後再測一次，用來檢查本工具的再測信度。樣本2用來複製由樣本1所得到的結果。結果：兩因素為最佳解，因素1涉及社會型性格三個理論上的概念－過度擔心他人想法、依賴以及取悅他人；因素2涉及自主型性格二個理論上的概念－控制需求和防衛分離，而不包括完美主義／自我批評。此外，結果亦指出本工具有良好四週再測信度與建構效度。結論：中文版PSI-II是一個具有兩個分離的憂鬱性格向度的良好測量工具，其實務應用於內文中一併討論。

Objective: Sociotropy and autonomy have been identified as traits of the personalities of people prone to depression. This study aimed to translate the instrument developed to measure these traits-the revised Personal Style Inventory (PSI-II), and examine the psychometric properties of the Chinese version of the PSI-II. Methods: Six hundred and forty-three undergraduates recruited from three universities in northern Taiwan were randomly assigned to two samples. All students completed the Chinese version PSI-II and the Beck Depressive Inventory. The data of Sample 1 were used to examine the reliability and validity of the Chinese version PSI-II. The data of Sample 2 were used to validate the results obtained from the Sample 1. In addition, 20 undergraduates in Sample 1 completed the Chinese version PSI-II again four weeks after the first test and the data were used to examine test-retest reliability. Results: Exploratory factor analyses indicated that a two-factor solution was the most appropriate. Factor 1 includes items referring to three theoretical constructs of sociotropy-excessive concerns about what others think, dependency, and pleasing others. Factor 2 includes items referring to two theoretical constructs of autonomy-need for control and defensive separation, excluding perfectionism/self-criticism. In addition, the composites of different specific depressive symptoms in the Beck Depressive Inventory were related differently to sociotropy and autonomy, suggesting that the Chinese version PSI-II has good construct validity. The analyses of this study also indicated that the Chinese version PSI-II is highly internally consistent and a reliable for four-week period and well-validated measure. Conclusion: The Chinese version PSI-II has good reliability and validity and is an instrument with two distinct personality dimensions, which can be used to examine the characteristics of personalities which are likely to increase vulnerability to depression in undergraduates.
