本研究目的在探討慢性C型肝炎患者接受干擾素合併ribavirin治療的生活經驗，以現象學的研究法自中部某醫學中心訪談十位接受治療的慢性C型肝炎患者，採半結構且深入的方式進行訪談，所有訪談內容均予以錄音並轉換成文字。以Giorgi的現象學方法分析所收集的資料，研究結果歸納出三個主要概念：生理功能的變異、心理情緒的困擾、社會互動的退縮。藉由此深入了解C型肝炎個案的治療生活經驗，可做為護理人員設計合適的諮詢內容與衛教方案。

The purpose of this study was to explore the life experience of patients suffering from chronic hepatitis C who were treated with interferon plus ribavirin therapy. A phenomenological method was used and ten patients were recruited. Open-ended, semi-structured, non-guided circumstantial interviews were conducted and recorded. All information was transcribed in written form. Data was analyzed using Giorgi's phenomenological method. Research results were organized into the following three categories: (1) abnormal physical functions, (2) psychological and emotional difficulties, (3) reduced social interactivity. A comprehensive understanding of hepatitis C patient experiences enables nurses to design appropriate counseling and education programs according to client needs.
