中文摘要

The purpose of this study was to research the effects of acute power fitness yoga on T4 numbers and T4/T8 ratio of HIV carriers. There were 12 HIV who take HAART (Highly active antiretroviral therapy), T4 numbers between 200-400/mm^3, plasma viral load <50/mm^3, to participate 60 min power fitness yoga of middle and high intensity. In ordered to understand the immune changes, blood samples were taken before exercise, immediately, 2, and 4 hours after exercise to compare the changes of T4 numbers and T4/T8 ratio. The target HR rate of middle intensity was HRmax 50-60%, and high intensity was HRmax 75-85%. The intensity of weight training was supervised by Borg RPE 6-20 scale. The target RPE range of middle intensity was 11-13, and High intensity was 14-16. The result of this study showed that there were no significant different among any samples on T4 numbers and T4/T8 ratio (p>.05). T4 numbers of high intensity exercise in the ending immediately are greater than middle intensity one significantly (p<.05). The current finding suggest HIV carriers with taking HAART who engage acute 60 min power fitness yoga don't occur exercise-induced immunosupression.
