中文摘要 |
The present study was to investigate the effects of three-day mountain climbing on hormone level and insulin sensitivity. Ten non-obesity and prime-age males (age 28.70±1.26 yrs, BMI 22.28±0.56 kg/m^2) were participated in this study. Oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) was performed on the pre-and three-day of mountain Wu-Ling climbing (altitude 2200-3400 m). Fasting blood samples before OGTT were taken for measuring serum cortisol, testosterone, growth hormone (GH), erythropoietin (EPO), DHEA-s and TNF-α level. The results of this study appeared that three-day mountain climbing improved glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity, significantly elevated serum testosterone, EPO, TNF-α level, and decreased DHEA-s. In conclusion, three-day mountain climbing improved glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity, and this improvement was associated with changed hormone level. |
