目的:探討連續7天增補槲皮素對激烈運動後體內抗氧化酵素與脂質過氧化物的影響。方法:本實驗以隨機雙盲交叉實驗設計,12名健康男大學生參與研究,連續增補7天的槲皮素(Quercetin, QE)2 × 500 mg/天,或安慰劑(Placebo, PL)後,進行單次激烈運動(75%VO_2max)至力竭,在運動前與運動後30及60分鐘,採集血液進行生化值分析。結果:激烈運動後體內抗氧化酵素,包括超氧歧化酶(superoxide dismutase, SOD)與過氧化氫酶(catalase,CAT)活性變化,QE組與PL組間無顯著差異(p > .05);另外,體內脂質過氧化物丙二醛(malondialdehyde, MDA)的濃度,雖然PL組在運動後30分鐘顯著高於運動前(p < .05),但運動後30分鐘兩組間仍未達顯著差異(p > .05)。結論:短期增補QE對體內抗氧化酵素SOD、CAT與脂質過氧化物MDA並無影響。

英文摘要

Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of quercetin (QE) supplementation for seven consecutive days on antioxidant enzymes and lipid peroxide induced by intensive exercise. Method: 12 healthy male collegiate students were recruited and allocated double blindly and randomly into quercetin (QE) supplementation trial (2 × 500 mg/day) or placebo-controlled trial (PL) . The treatment was given for 7 continuous days, and then subjects performed a single bout of intensive exercise (75% VO_2max) until exhaustion. The venous blood samples were drawn before test and at 30 and 60 minutes after completing condition protocol for testing immunological biomarkers. Results: There was no significant difference between QE and PL (p > .05) after intensive exercise in activity of antioxidant enzymes, including superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT). Otherwise, the concentration of lipid peroxide and malondialdehyde in post 30 minutes was higher than pre-test (p < .05) , but yet no significant difference exited between QE and PL (p > .05) at 30 minutes after exercise. Moreover, no significant difference exited in the concentration of lipid peroxide and malondialdehyde. Conclusion: There were no effects of short-term QE intake on antioxidant enzymes, such as SOD, CAT, lipid peroxide and malondialdehyde
