英文摘要

This paper is a graduate tracer study sponsored by the Commission on Higher Education which looked into the level of employability of the recent graduates of the University of San Carlos-College of Commerce (USC-COC). The respondents are graduates from the Business Administration, Accountancy and Hospitality Departments for March 2007, October 2007 and March 2008. The degree courses which were the subject of this study were: Masters in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Office Administration, Certificate in Business Information Management, Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting, Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management and Associate in Hotel and Restaurant Management. It appears that USC-COC graduates enjoy a high level of employability. Graduates generally do not experience difficulty in finding their first job and mean waiting time is only less than a month. Only a small percentage of graduates remain unemployed beyond the six month period. Initial gross monthly incomes vary among the different degree programs.
