德語Mutter和-mutter：屬人準後綴個案研究

本文旨在探討德語中Mutter這個字和-mutter的衍生字，期望德語學習者對德語衍生字有進一步的了解。研究目標有三：（1）Mutter語意和其同義詞之使用頻率、（2）Mutter常用的搭配語、以及（3）-mutter衍生字與語用界面。我們使用柏林勃蘭登堡科學研究院的Das Wortauskunftssystem zur deutschen Sprache in Geschichte und Gegenwart（DWDS），運用其豐富的語料庫、數據分析、以及語法編排來搜取語料。從語意、構詞、語用的角度來觀察與呈現Mutter和-mutter。從家庭中的Mutter母親角色到-mutter準後綴，同時也由家庭範疇擴展到社會範疇。-mutter衍生字中的稱謂語反映了德國文化與社會轉型。

This paper aims to explore Mutter 'mother' and -mutter in German. It is hoped that German learners can have a better understanding of German derivation. The research objectives are threefold: (1) the semantics of Mutter and the usage frequency of its synonyms, (2) the common collocations of Mutter and their social connotations, and (3) the word formation and pragmatic interface of the affixoid -mutter. Das Wortauskunftssystem zur deutschen Sprache in Geschichte und Gegenwart (DWDS) built by Berlin-Brandenburgischen Akademie der Wissenschaften (BBAW) serves as the data source of the study for its rich data, statistics analysis, and grammar formation. The result shows that from mother role to -mutter affixoid, Mutter has expanded from family domain to social domain. The appellation in the -mutter derivation reflects German culture and the transformation of the society. German learners should pay attention to the cultural difference of certain terms when using what they have learned to talk to Germans.
