助行車運動之介紹與腦性麻痺者運動比賽之梗概

腦性麻痺者經常宥於肢體上之限制以及適當的器材而鮮少參與體育活動，戶外運動尤然。然而許多研究發現，適度的體育活動對腦性麻痺者非但具有復健的作用，肢體協調亦能因此而獲得改善。規律的體育活動除了可促進腦性麻痺者體能之發展，走出戶外接觸人群亦可增加其自信心進而培養其正向積極之人生態度。腦性麻痺者生活自理能力若能獲得提升，除本身之生活品質獲得改善，照顧者之生理、心理壓力亦隨之減輕，政府亦因此而能減少社福成本之支出。RaceRunning在台灣首度引進，目前尚無中譯名稱，筆者將之譯為助行車。本文希望藉由此運動之介紹來提供廣大之腦性麻痺者多一項運動的選擇。
