本研究旨在探討參加全國大專選手訓練工作熱情、健康促進生活型態與生活品質之影響情形。本研究以全國大專各競技運動項目選手為研究對象，回收有效樣本483份。所得資料經統計分析結果發現：一、大專選手的性別、入學方式、比賽名次與訓練工作熱情有顯著影響；大專選手的性別、年級、比賽名次與健康促進生活型態有顯著影響；大專選手的性別、年級、入學方式、比賽名次與生活品質無顯著影響。二、不同比賽成績評定方式的運動員之訓練工作熱情未達顯著差異；不同比賽成績評定方式的運動員之健康促進生活型態達顯著差異；不同比賽成績評定方式的運動員之生活品質達顯著差異。三、本研究發現訓練工作熱情的訓練樂趣對健康促進生活型態的影響最高；訓練工作熱情的訓練樂趣對生活品質的影響最高；健康促進生活型態的自我實現對生活品質的影響最高。
