自閉症孩童在日常生活上常會伴隨著各種社交障礙和運動障礙,影響身心健康與發展。本篇研究目的為透過運動訓練結合人型機器人輔助教學,探究此族群之運動平衡能力及社會互動能力之學習成效。本研究方法採前實驗設計(pre-experimental design),共招募參與者5名、6-10歲自閉症類群障礙孩童,以共同上課方式、進行10週、每週一次50分鐘介入課程,課程前、後一週實施平衡能力測量及家長意見回饋資料,每週課程後進行社會互動能力評量。研究結果顯示,參與者平衡能力表現上僅在走直線進階有些微進步,研究者評估動態式平衡能力測量、自閉症孩童理解及專注力不足,皆使測量表現之穩定度較差而可能影響結果。實驗後孩童社會互動能力上皆有所改善,同時在運動學習動機上有明顯增加。整體結果顯示多位自閉症孩童一起進行課程及合併機器人之輔助教學,可提供有效及更多元化的運動治療方式。

英文摘要

Children with autism usually experience various social and motor impairments daily, influencing their physical and mental health and development. This study aimed to investigate the learning effectiveness of motor balance and social interaction skills of these children through exercise training accompanying a humanoid robot teaching assistance. A pre-experimental design was conducted by recruiting 5 participants, aged 6-10 years old, with autism spectrum disorder, who accepted a 10-week, 50-minute intervention session in group. Balance measures and parental feedback were administered the week before and after the program, and social interaction skills were assessed right after the program each week. The results showed that participants' balance performance improved only in straight-line walking (advanced).Researchers assessed that poor understanding and attention in children with autism contributed to instability performance during the dynamic balance measurement and might affect the results. All participants' social interaction skills displayed advancement and a significant increase in motivation for exercise learning after the experiment. The results suggest that the multiple children with autism in a program and the combination of the robot's teaching assistance can provide a practical and more diversified approach to movement therapy.
