印尼爲全球最大島嶼國家，擁有豐富的自然資然、以及充沛的勞動力資源，自千禧年來即以亮眼的經濟成長備受國際資金矚目，然而仰賴棕櫚油、天然氣、石油原油等自然資源出口的成長在面臨國際需求萎縮的壓力下，擴大內需的投資與消費刺激了經常帳攀升，缺乏關鍵基礎技術的「印尼4.0」要完成產業升級將面臨極大挑戰。

Indonesia is the world's largest island country with abundant natural and labor resources. Since the turn of the Millennium, Indonesia has attracted widespread attention of FDI for its fast economic growth. However, the economic development of Indonesia depends on the export of natural resources such as palm oil, crude oil. Under the pressure of shrinking global demand, the expansion of domestic demand for investment and consumption has stimulated the rise of current account. ＂Indonesia 4.0,＂ which lacks key basic technologies, will face great challenges of industrial upgrading.
