孫光憲《北夢瑣言》宋初刊刻原為三十卷，今日通行二十卷本，諸家版本亦較為複雜。《四庫全書》子部十二，小說家類一，雜事之屬「《北夢瑣言》提要」云：「世所行者凡二本，一為明商維濬稗海所刻，脫誤殆不可讀。近時揚州新刻，乃元華亭孫道明所藏，猶宋時陝西刊板，差完整有緒，故今以揚州本著錄，不用商氏本云。」《提要》論斷商濬本為劣，唯事實如何？緣由為何？筆者不揣翦陋，乃撰文〈論《北夢瑣言》商本劣勢之因〉，據雅雨堂刻本對校商濬本，全面檢視二者異文，並歸納分析商本訛誤現象與原因，以供使用者參考。 |

The first edition of Bei Meng Suo Yan of (Song) Sun Guangxian in North Song Dynasty was 30 volumes, and nowadays, there are 20 volumes. The versions of different schools are more complicated. "Summary of Bei Meng Suo Ya" of Siku Quanshu Zibu twelfth, novelist and affairs: there were two versions, one was published by Ming Shang Wei Jun Baihai with errors and unreadable. A new version of Yangzhou was collected by Sun Tao Ming of Yuan Hua Ting. The version of Shanxi in Song Dynasty was incomplete. Thus, the version of Yangzhou is adopted in modern time instead of the Shang version." According to Summery, the quality of the Shang Jun version is poor. However, what is the truth?
