背景:加護病房護理人員常因工作壓力大無法展現適當的同理心而影響護病溝通。本研究目的為探討加護病房護理人員同理心現況及影響同理心展現之因素。方法:採橫斷式相關性研究,方便取樣於南部某區域教學醫院加護病房護理人員為研究對象,共發放168份問卷,回覆率達95.8%;以傑佛遜同理心量表-醫護人員版收集同理心資料。並採獨立樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析、皮爾森相關分析及多元逐步迴歸進行資料分析。結果:共納入161位,以年齡越大、女性、已婚、總工作年資越久、護理進階職級N3以上、輪班以固定白班、有接受相關同理心教育訓練及閱讀相關人文素書籍者與其同理心具顯著相關(p<.05)。經多元逐步迴歸分析後以進階職級及閱讀相關人文素書籍習慣(p<.005)為同理心預測因素。結論/實務應用:加護病房護理人員同理心現況為中上程度。建議臨床鼓勵護理人員參與護理人員進階制度、在職教育可多舉辦情境體驗模擬的同理心訓練課程、鼓勵人員養成閱讀習慣,能主動學習提升臨床專業照護能力,進而促進護理人員同理心的展現。 |

Background: As higher patient disease severity in the intensive care unit (ICU) and clinical work techniques complexity, the nursing staffs are unable to express suitable empathy due to work pressure may affect nurse-patient relationships. The purpose of this study was to explore the current status of empathy and influences factors that affect empathy expression among ICU nurses. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted. A convenience sample of 168 ICU nurses was recruited from Southern reginal teaching hospital with 95.8% of response rate. The Jefferson scale of Empathy (JSE) was used to examine the current status of empathy among ICU nurses. Data analysis included independent t test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation test and multiple stepwise regression analysis. Results: Total of 161 subjects were included. Statistical significance (p < .05) was found between empathy and older age, female, married, higher total work seniority, nursing clinical ladder system greater than N3, fixed morning shift, received relevant empathy educational training and reading humanistic quality book. The multiple stepwise regression analysis revealed that the clinical ladder system and reading humanity literature were regarded as predictive factors (p < .005). Conclusions: The current level of ICU nursing staff empathy was above average. It is recommended clinically to encourage the nursing staff participation in the clinical ladder system involvement, in service training can utilize simulation of similar scenario training for empathy and established reading habit to strengthen clinical care ability and promote the nursing staff's clinical exhibition of empathy. |
