This article primarily discusses the implementation of learning strategies in special education, particularly highlighting their importance in teaching Chinese characters. The Ministry of Education's curriculum guidelines for students with disabilities emphasize the integrated utilization of learning strategies to enhance learning efficiency. The previous research indicates the necessity and efficiency of orthographic knowledge in the development of Chinese reading, especially for students with learning disabilities. Therefore, it is recommended that special education teachers design teaching activities based on the special education needs of students. By adapting various literacy teaching methods, teachers could effectively enhance students' performances of Chinese character learning. |
