金鷹拳起源於清朝道光年間,由少林拳師劉明善(阿善師)從福建傳入台灣,受西螺人民所託創設「振興社武館」,指導當地民眾武術,使得盜匪畏懼逐漸消聲匿跡,讓當地居民得以安定生活,而阿善師行俠仗義的義行,也爲後人津津樂道。有關振興社金鷹拳的相關研究,截至目前爲止,並未有完整的論述,且這種結合拳法、兵器、獅陣、鼓樂等特殊技藝,引發筆者的研究動機。本研究目的在於探討振興社彰化團的源流及發展,以田野調查的方式,配合振興社彰化團團主的口述歷史,期望能以文字記載的方式保留相關文獻及資料。 研究結果如下:一、金鷹拳起源確由福建人氏劉明善在台灣西螺成立振興社廣爲發揚。二、彰化各地所成立的振興社爲阿善師嫡傳弟子吳幸協助指導。振興社彰化團創始人爲陳炎順,由於近期因病逝世,目前振興社彰化團的館務由劉國良接手,館務仍持續運作中。三、彰化振興社的祖師牌位:「金鷹先師」代表金鷹拳,「白猴先師」代表猴拳,「練成祖師」爲兵器祖師,「布家祖師」則爲棍法的祖師,中間的主神爲「觀音佛祖」,其意指祖先希望振興社的後人能有觀音佛祖般的慈悲心腸。四、金鷹拳分爲四大類:拳法、兵器、舞獅、鼓樂等,只要是振興社門下弟子都應學習之功課。

英文摘要

Chin-ying Ch'uan (Golden-eagle Boxing) came from Fuzeng by a boxing master named Ah-Shan in Tao Kuang of the Ch'ing Dynasty. Master Ah-Shan created ”Chen (Restoration) Society”, a martial training place for local residents to learn in terms of getting away from the fear of robbery and having a safer and more stable life. Regarding the related research, the Golden-eagle hasn't been completely well-known so far. This unique martial arts that combining boxing, swords, lion-shaped convoy, and drums, motivates this further study. The study aims at the exploration of the origin and the development of Restoration Society by random fieldwork along with the oral statement of the current chairman of Restoration Society. It's a way to keep more complete related documents by written history. The study concludes: 1) The Golden-eagle Boxing truly originates from Mr. Ming-Shan Liu and he was from Fu-Zeng. 2) All branches of ”Restoration Society” in Changhua are under Mr. Sing Wu's instruction and he's the legitimacy of Master Ah-Shan. 3) The cenotaphs of Restoration Society mean something: ”Golden-eagle Master” represents Golden-eagle boxing. ”White Monkey Master” represents the monkey boxing. ”Trained Master” represents sword masters. ”Legacy Master” represents cudgel masters. The middle of the cenotaphs stands the main worship: Gua-ing Buddhist. That's for the heirs of Restoration Society to be kind-hearted like Gua-ing Buddhist. 4) The Restoration Society in Changhua is currently in the hand of Mr. Guo-Liang Liu and still working very well.
