耳穴貼壓法治療手法與臨床療效關係為：手法為指功發熱、通經活絡、氣至病所的耳穴治療方法的運用，根據以下五個理論： （一）根據鑰匙和鎖孔學說，施以手法。 （二）根據耳廓與人體控制關係。 （三）耳廓神經分佈與人體臟腑、四肢的關係。 （四）根據毛髮分佈規律學說。 （五）根據病理形態學與疾病相關的解剖部位形態。

The relationship between technique and efficacy in auricular acupressure relies primarily on the following functions: the production of heat with finger pressure, freeing the vessels and invigorating the collaterals, and leading the qi to the sight of illness. The use of these treatment techniques is in accordance with the following five theories. The use of technique based on the lock and key theory. The control relationship between the auricle and the body. The relationship between the nerve distribution in the auricle, and vital organs and limbs of the body. The theory of hair distribution patterns. The theory of pathological morphology and the relationship between disease and regional anatomical morphology.
