一名13歲女性學生自11歲開始初經，每個月來潮10天左右。近四個月，月經淋漓不易結束，往往乾淨三四天又來，診斷為功能不良性子宮出血，屬於中醫的崩漏範疇。該病患易緊張、怕熱、略身熱、目痠澀、經行便溏、小腹痛、舌邊綠少苔、脈弦澀，辨證為肝鬱脾虛化熱、肝腎陰虛、衝任虛寒。主方使用加味逍遙散、二至丸、溫經湯或當歸芍藥散調理肝、腎、脾和衝任，約兩個月後月經正常不再淋漓。

A 13-year-old girl's menarche was at 11 years old. Her duration of menses was 10 days per month. She got frequent & prolonged bleeding in recent 4 months. It belongs to the flooding and spotting field of traditional Chinese medicine. The Chinese medical patterns were liver depression transforming into heat and spleen vacuity, liver-kidney yin vacuity, and vacuity cold of the thoroughfare and controlling vessels. She took jiā wèi xiāo yáo săn (Supplemented Free Wanderer Powder), èr zhì wán (Double Supreme Pill), and wēn jīng tāng (Channel-Warming Decoction)/or dāng guī sháo yào săn (Chinese Angelica and Peony Powder) for about 2 months, then her menstruations became normal.
