以針灸療法治療末期糖尿病腎病變的中醫個案報告

糖尿病為導致末期腎臟病的重要原因，對於如何維持並恢復病人的腎臟功能為臨床的重要挑戰。本病例為五十九歲男性糖尿病末期腎臟病的病人，因低血糖原因就診住院，並於住院與後續門診追蹤期間接受中醫針灸治療。中醫四診診斷為脾腎陽虛證，並於追蹤照護期間，施以中脘，關元，腎俞，足三里，太溪，委中，三陰交等穴位之針灸療法，追蹤患者之腎臟功能有顯著獲得改善，蛋白尿症狀也獲得舒緩。本結果有利於中西醫雙方共同照護腎臟病病人的可能性，並加強中醫針灸對於疾病控制的合理性與正當性。

Retarding renal progression in patient with diabetes remains a big challenge for Western medicine. One 59-year-old male patient with extreme low renal function (estimated glomerular filtration rate: 6 ml/min/1.73 m^2) visited our hospital admission due to hypoglycemia. The holistic differential diagnosis was Spleen-Kidney Yang Deficiency. Acupuncture treatment was suggesting regular given during this admission and subsequent outpatient visits. After needle stimulating 7 vital acupuncture points (Zhongwan, Guanyuan, Shenshu, Zusanli, Taixi , Weizhong, and Sanyinjiao), patient renal function and proteinuria had significantly improved. Our results encourage more integrated Western and Chinese medicine care in improving patient outcomes and strengthen the rationality and justification of acupuncture on disease management.
