紅斑狼瘡是一種常見的自體免疫性疾病，它與硬皮病、皮膚炎、類風濕性關節炎等疾病因其疏鬆結締組織，均具有粘液樣水腫和類纖維蛋白性變兩種基本病變，故常總稱為結締組織疾病，又稱膠原性疾病。它們的發病原因至今尚未完全明瞭，一般認為是由於感染、日曬、藥物等因素誘發，使人體內環境發生紊亂，使本來不能夠形成的免疫活性細胞群得以發展，因而對自體某些成分出現了免疫病變反應。

The mechanism of basic lesions is myxedema andfibrinoid degeneration. The etiology has not yet fully clear, generally considered to be the result of infection, sunlight, drugs induce the immune activity of cells and reaction appeared immune disorders. Lupus erythematosus is more common disease, especially in the 20 to 40 yearold women have a higher prevalence, children and the elderly are also presented. There are a few cases of familial history, and hereditary disease. The disease can be divided into two types of limitations discoid and systemic. The former damage mainly confined to the skin, which in addition to the skin, while still involving the kidney, heart and other organs, often accompanied by fever, joint pain, neurological and psychiatric diseases, digestive system diseases and so on.
